Matariki at Te Henga!

We have some amazing kapa haka, Derek March will be building and flying kites, kids games, sunshine, sound system bumping some tunes all day, some incredible local poets, storytellers, musicians and speakers!

  • KP Sunshine Sound System
  • All day harakeke weaving, kite making, decorating stars, seed swap and more.
  • Te Henga Hub community information, kawakawa tea and ‘fill your hottie!’

Bring:

  • Some seating for yourselves, something to keep you warm (and maybe an umbrella!), hot water bottle, seeds to swap, plus mug (see below). 
  • Bethells Café all day deliciousness
  • Soup and bread free for all from 3pm - bring a mug
